Who Are We?

The congregation is made up of all sorts of people from the local community. We meet to worship God, to share fellowship, and to try to live out God’s mission in the world. We try to get involved in what’s happening in our own area, and we also support international charities such as Christian Aid.

We are a fairly new URC (2018), having formerly been an LEP (local ecumenical partnership) with a local Anglican church (see History ).

Our minister since November 2019, is Rev Naomi Young-Rodas, who is also the minister of Christ Church, Rayleigh URC , so we do not see her every week. Our other services are taken by local lay-preachers. Naomi usually leads worship on the 2nd (Communion) and 4th Sundays of the month.

The Minister is supported by a team of Elders elected by the congregation.
